Los Haitises National Park is a protected natural reserve located on the northeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, famous for its lush mangroves, dramatic limestone karst formations, mysterious caves with ancient Taíno petroglyphs, and abundant wildlife. The name “Haitises” means “highlands” in the Taíno language.
